Horst Loewel also wrote in 1954 his first pieces for organ - 1960 "Suite in the old style" for brass ensemble, percussion and harp. Since 1963, he held several organ concerts and art shows. Horst G. Loewel founded, exhibited and performed the "Music and Art Days" in Gut Neuhaus (1978 - 1996). In. 2004, he started the "Cumberland Concerts" with the musician and painter John F. Mortenson, to promote the historic organ in Cumberland.
